The Lake Houston Family YMCA presents Dancing for Partners … an evening of dancing with community stars! This event will take place on Thursday, April 23, 2009. Doors will open at 6:00 pm and the dance contest is scheduled to begin at 7:00 pm.

The location for the event is The Nathaniel Center located at 804 Russell Palmer Rd. in Kingwood TX. Individual tickets are $20 and are being sold at the Lake Houston Family YMCA, 281-360-2500. The proceeds benefit the Lake Houston Family YMCA Partners Scholarship Campaign.

Masters of Ceremonies for the event are Mike Byers, President of the Humble Area Chamber of Commerce, and Mike Sullivan, Houston City Council Member. The performers for the event include Rick Alspaugh (Alspaugh’s Ace Hardware), Jonathan Brinsden (Midway Companies), Christie Harrison (YMCA Board Member), Dan Huberty (Humble ISD School Board), Steven Millner (Alpha and Omega Sound), Gay Nord (Kingwood Medical Center), Vicki and Paul Sarvadi (Administaff), Robert Scarfo (Humble ISD School Board, Guy Sconzo (Humble ISD Superintendent), and Larry Shiflet (The Tribune).

The dance instructors include Club Ballroom, Kingwood Strutters, Lake Houston Performing Arts Center (LHPCA), Kingwood Park High School Silver Stars, and Rowland/Ballard.
