Where did you (Kingwood TX) spend your Thanksgiving holiday? I left last Wednesday for the Hill Country Hyatt in San Antonio. If you are looking for a quiet, family friendly, escape, the Hill Country Hyatt in San Antonio TX may be the place you need to visit. It is also located only 5 minutes from San Antonio Sea World and about 15 minutes from the San Antonio River Walk. One of my favorite restraunts I had to visit while in the area was La Fogota. For authentic Mexican food, this needs to be at the top of your list when you visit San Antonio. Make sure you call ahead for seating as it can get crowded. The great thing about San Antonio is only about a 3.5 hour car ride for me. It is one of my top destinations when traveling in Texas. Keller Williams Realty Northeast Concert Series at Kings Harbor located in Kingwood TX will be kicking off this Friday, October 3rd from 7:00 pm - 10:00 pm. The event will be at the waters edge with the entertainment provided by the 8 Seconds Band. Lawn chairs and coolers are welcome. Stop by Kings Harbor early for dinner at one of the fine restaurants, Chimichurri’s South American Grill, Como Se Dice, Raffa’s, have some ice cream from Two Gems while enjoying the event, and Zammitti’s. It is a great opportunity to support local businesses at Kings Harbor and an opportunity to honor community hero’s of Hurricane Ike. Keller Williams will also have a table setup to collect monetary donations on behalf of Family Time Crisis and Counseling Center in Humble. Family Time Crisis and Counseling Center served as a shelter for many Hurricane Ike evacuees. So come out and enjoy a great evening with your family and friends during this time of celebration and support of our local communities. The Keller Williams Realty Northeast Concert Series will continue every 3rd Friday of each month.
